It feels like forever since we last made an update. We want to say thank you to those of you who reached out to us for info or just support to continue. We hope folks have fared well with the pandemic with their health or work as we have heard many stories that have touched our hearts.
Our family took some time off and took a road trip across country to look at a new place to call home and we have relocated to North Carolina. While planning our move, we started discussing plans to restart the Lap Cozy operations as we will be much closer to our manufacturing suppliers.
We are going to be spending the next month reviewing what options we have and how much we can proceed with before the winter holidays and Christmas. Surprisingly, Covid-19 still has had a major impact on supplies of fabric for us and sourcing a competitively priced option of the sewing for the cover is proving to be very difficult. Please check back for updates as we will make updates as we get closer to October.
For anyone looking to purchase a Lap Cozy, there are currently no more available on our site, Amazon or Etsy. It is still unbelievable to us that we had a huge storage full of them and now have none. We wish we had more to send out as we know there are pets out there that can use them with their remote working parents!
