Before we invented the Lap Cozy, our legs suffered repeated shredding from our sweet but nervous cat Caesar. Caesar easily freaks out from loud noises and if this happens when he is on your lap, those claws dig in to your skin for traction and then rip you to shreds as he leaps off your lap to hide from whatever frightened him. If you are unlucky enough to have thin clothing on when this happens or even worse, bare skin, you are going to have some serious damage to your legs. Many folks visiting our site have shared similar stories about those scratchy cats when scared or feeling spunky.
